Emergency Medical Technician of the Year – Christina Rini
EMT Rini started her career with Hall Ambulance in July of 2007. She transferred from Metro Bakersfield to the East Kern area where she works and lives. EMT Rini was recognized by her Supervisors for her positive attitude, honesty, work ethic and overall dedication to Hall Ambulance and EMS. EMT Rini has helped establish regular visits with the guests at the Rosamond Senior Center. Part of that outreach is blood pressure check clinics. Many seniors look forward to their weekly meetings with the EMTs and Paramedics. EMT Rini works hard to make station life as homey as can be, taking it upon herself to decorate the station for the holidays. Her honesty was on display when she found a wallet on the street with several hundred dollars. She searched out the owner of the wallet and returned the money to a very happy person. Her Supervisors report that she can always be counted on to work any and all extra shifts and in 2012 she worked more than 40 extra shifts. Her Supervisors describe her as the most dependable and honest EMT they know.
