Family & Friends CPR in Spanish

CPR-DSC_8964Hall Ambulance Service is offering a Spanish-language version of the American Heart Association’s Family & Friends CPR Course. The training is intended for people who want to learn CPR, but do not need a course completion card for their job.

This training is ideal for students, new parents, grandparents, babysitters and others who are interested in learning how to save a life. The Family & Friends CPR Course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only CPR, child CPR with breaths, adults and child AED use, infant CPR and relief of choking in an adult, child or infant. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment by using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible.

Classes are limited to 20 participants. Two dates have been scheduled for the class being taught in Spanish:

  • Friday, March 6, 2015- 9a.m. – 11a.m.
  • Friday, April 3, 2015- 9a.m. – 11a.m.

The cost for the class is $20.00, and includes an AHA textbook that includes a participation card. The classes will take place at the Hall Ambulance Community Center, located at 1031 21st Street, in downtown Bakersfield.
