Hall CCT-Air Division Employee Of The Year

BruceHarriman_CCT Air EOTYBruce Harriman was recognized as Hall Critical Care Transport – Air Division’s Employee of the Year, during the annual employee recognition awards at the February Shift Meeting.

Harriman began working with Hall Critical Care Transport nine years ago.  Since that time, he has proven himself as a dedicated, steadfast aircraft mechanic that our entire base can depend on.  Not only is this displayed in his daily work ethic, but also the fact that he has not missed a day of work in nine years.  There is not a week that goes by that a member of the Hall team or the Air Methods team does not compliment Harriman on the work he does.

One incident in particular further demonstrated his leadership and work ethic.

During 2013, while enroute to a local hospital for an inter-facility transfer the MedEvac 1 flight crew had to abort a landing at a hospital due to flying debris that was quickly approaching the helicopter.  The quick actions of the pilot averted a catastrophe on the pad and the crew landed back at base safely.   The result of the incident required, basically, an unexpected tear down, inspection and rebuilding of the aircraft.  Harriman was able to assemble a team and complete this monumental task in just less than two weeks.
