Under general supervision assess injuries and administer basic emergency medical care. Provide emergency rescue and care to the ill and injured, including assessment of illness and/or injury, management of illness/injury, preparation for transport, transfer of information, and compassionate patient care.

COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST (DISPATCHER TRAINEE) Apply Now!
Under supervision, performs as an Emergency Medical Dispatcher in the Communications Center. Work involves evaluating incoming calls to determine the appropriate level of response required, dispatching ambulance units, and transmitting information and messages upon request and/or according to established procedures.

SUPPLY TECHNICIAN Apply Now!
Under supervision, performs the duties of a Supply Technician on regular shifts in Supply. Stocks ambulances, tracks inventories and restocks units in the field as directed. Tracks the issuance and return of equipment by EMT’s and Paramedics with each ambulance shift. Takes every reasonable precaution to maintain security and protection of sensitive data.

EMS INSTRUCTOR Apply Now!
As an instructor with our Harvey L. Hall EMS Academy, you will teach top-notch EMT and Paramedic students in an accelerated learning environment. You will have the opportunity to guide Hall Ambulance EMTs and Paramedics as they learn new skills and refresh their current skill set.

This is an in-person, full-time, year-round position.

AMBULANCE DETAILER Apply Now!
On a daily basis, wash and detail Hall Ambulance vehicles, including ambulances, administrative vehicles, and support service vehicles. Detail the insides of ambulances with care and consideration for patient safety. Perform janitorial duties and basic maintenance of Hall Ambulance facilities as directed. Perform all tasks with respect for the image and legacy of Hall Ambulance Service, Inc.

Hall Ambulance is the 9-1-1 paramedic provider for 94% of Kern County, California. Our response areas encompass an area equal in size to the state of New Jersey. As a result, our medics and EMTs can work in various geographical locations ranging from the metropolitan areas of Bakersfield, the wilderness areas bordering Los Padres National Forest, to the vast expanse of the Mojave Desert.
