Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR) Initial Course (Instructor Lead)

This course is structured to provide you with the knowledge and skills to perform CPR as a team for victims of all ages. BLS for the healthcare provider also teaches foreign body airway obstruction, automated external defibrillator, use of a barrier device, bag-mask device and the use of supplemental oxygen. This course is intended for healthcare providers of all types and those whose employment requires a healthcare provider course.

Upon successful completion, students will receive an American Heart Association CPR/AED Healthcare Provider card valid for 2 years

There are no prerequisites for this class.

Required Materials

Course fee includes your required textbook. Textbooks are available at 2001 “O” Street or they can be mailed with two weeks prior notice.
